  Rating a business that sells plants 1 star is absurd. To the moron who couldn't find a park and enjoys a suspicious relationship with a competing business; get a grip. EVERY business in Brisbane is rubbish to park at. To the high flying types impatient with the "slow, unprofessional service"; you're buying plants, on a weekend, from staff who by definition are not doctors or lawyers. There's soul music playing, there's alternative artwork on the wall. Were you expecting a three piece suit? Mappins is, from my experiences there, a personally run local business that's as much a beautiful living gallery as it is a nursery. We've spent thousands there over the last year and never once have I found this NURSERY (it's not a fast food restaurant you impatient jackasses) to be anything but a delight to quite literally just BE in and yes, to purchase things from. Long may it thrive so we might enjoy not just shopping there, but it's very existence.

  They are not big, but they have a nice eclectic approach and good gaps within their selection. The prices are fair for a nursery in a city. The help was outstanding. Several times, I who have tested the patience of nuns, was walked through a number of my questions.
